our food is cooked with open flames and hot coals. our team is our family and our restaurant is your second dining room.
tom is the owner-chef of ember, once upon a time head chef of Yering Station Wine Bar, South Central and Next Door Bar & Eatery. ember is the place he knew he'd open for his friends and family, in his local area, a place we hope you'll come and enjoy too.
at ember we don’t label our food as a specific cuisine. our food is made
from good quality produce and touched by fire for optimal tastiness.
our drinks list has it all, so your food is in good company, just as you will be.
takeaway is a special treat we offer during lockdown as a taste of normality and to ensure the belly's of our locals are well fed.

we will not be offering takeaway for the remainder of lockdown 5.0 as ember will be closed from mon 19 july for a 2 week mid-year break.
we will be reopen wed 4 august.
